Check a money transfer provider on the FCA Register
Look up a firm
Enter the name of the firm you are thinking of using. We look it up on the FCA’s Financial Services Register for you, then and there, and show each match exactly as the Register returns it. Results may be cached for up to one hour and are not copied into profiles.
What the FCA Register tells you
Check the company operating the payment service, its current status and its permission for the service you intend to use. A brand name may differ from the registered company name. Some firms act as payment-services or e-money agents; check their principal and the capacity in which they provide the service. See the FCA's guidance on using payment service providers and checking firms and agents.
Check the exact firm you are paying. Scam sites often copy the name of a real authorised firm, so compare the website address and phone number with the ones on the Register entry.
